Calle's Custom Icons - System icons

Here I display a special design of icons of my own production - The BIG ICONS, in which I have tried to go further in simplifying the expression of icon art.
Again inspired by Brian Brasher (Ikthusian, the master of pixels), I wanted to make a set of icons that featured the primitive expressiveness of 16x16 pixels, only enlarged into 32x32. I suddenly ended up with many, many more icons than I thought I would make.
So first I made one large set that I entered into the Pixelpalooza Contest in January 2000, but then it has expanded into a number of sets.
You download each set of icons by clicking on the display image, or on the text "Download". Each set includes many more icons than the ones displayed.
